Too much time...

Someone with WAY too much time on their hands. Then again, what's it say about me that I read the entire thing.

BTW we went out last night to see The Terminal. Personally I (and Jen, Anna and Carla...my lovely dates for the evening) all gave it the big two thumbs down. My comment as the credits rolled was: "There's two hours of my life I'll never get back..."
It would have been way more interesting to tell the real story that the movie is based on. There really is a man, named Merhan Nasseri, who has been stuck in Charles de Gaulle airport since 1988.
Unfortunately Spielberg and co. had to:

  • Move it to New York

  • Add a stupid romantic sideplot

  • Add a wholebunch of slapstick comedy

  • Add a sticky-sweet story about his father...maybe it's because it opened on Father Day weekend?

Here's the Rotten Tomatoes rating for it, which is much higher than I expected.

On a brighter note, we also went to the new Sinaloa's Cafe in Morgan Hill for dinner, and Jen and I thought it was pretty good. The old Sinaloa's burned down about a year after Jen and I moved here, and we'd kept hearing how good it was. Still doesn't match up to Maui Taco in my opinion, but it's not bad, and the prices are pretty good.
