Little did you know, but I was deleting approximately 40 posts from various poker sites per day. They were coming to me to be moderated before actually being posted for your reading pleasure, but it's getting to be a pain to have to keep moderating them. To try and fix this problem I've put in a couple of patches and added the draconian rule that you must be a registered user to add comments to the blog. For the immediate family this shouldn't be a big deal, but anyone else who's reading will need to register. Sorry about this, but deleting all the spam is taking up too much time.
Also, I upgraded WordPress to 1.2.2. If you've got any complaints please let me know.
